In such a rural environment surrounded by woodland, we are blessed with a wealth of Flora and Fauna. A wide variety of mammals and bird species are often seen on and around the course. Muntjac Deer and stoats, woodpeckers, kingfisher, heron and dragon flies are all regularly visitors.
In addition you will see majestic raptors circling – Buzzards & Red Kites.
We also now have a group of tame ducks that have taken up residence on the pond in front on the 7th tee. If they sound hungry, please take a moment to give them a little food from the feed container.
For a better understanding of the geology of our location and the Greensand Ridge in general you may find this publication from the The Bedfordshire & Luton RIGS group interesting.
