Derek experienced 6 years in golf club management in South Africa after moving to Joburg in 1991. He returned to England in 1997 and joined Millbrook in March 1998 and was one of The Magnificent Seven finalists in the 2007 Association of Club Managers, Manager of The Year competition. From March 2011, Derek will be easing down to a 4 day week as he heads towards retirement in 2013. Rob Brightman will deputise for Derek at weekends working 4 hours hours each day on Saturday's and Sunday's.

P.G.A. Professional - appointed at The Millbrook as PGA Club Professional in April 2007. Rob in also looking after course issues and Chairs our course sub committee. Our course staff report to Rob on a daily basis for planning the weekly work including projects. Our course is improving each year and Rob is keen to implement many improvement over the coming years. From March 2011 Rob will be taking on the weekend duties from Derek.
